Spring Decluttering with Rancho Santa Fe Business and Professional Women’s Organization
I was honored to be a presenter for Rancho Santa Fe Business and Professional Women’s Organization that meets in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. I was invited to speak about decluttering, donating and organizing to help women prepare their homes for spring.
My presentation focused on giving women insight into determining what their ideal sanctuary is at their home and in their lives. This includes spaces such as the closet, kitchen, bathroom, dining room, bedroom, kid’s room, garage and more.
Being successful with organizing often begins with internal reflection and deciding what the ultimate goal will be.
I explained three steps to move everyone through an organization process that I have found works best for my clients.
First, get rid of “stuff”! Release items so you have less items to work with when beginning to organize.
Second, determine what to buy and not to buy. How can we become organized when we constantly have new items arriving at our door that we bought from Amazon?
Finally, organize!
The women enjoyed the presentation and were happy to receive tips to begin organizing their personal spaces, or what I call “sanctuaries.”
Towards the end I mentioned that I offer personal organizing services to those who live in Rancho Santa Fe, Fallbrook, Temecula, Murrieta, Encinitas, Carlsbad and surrounding areas. Additionally I am happy to be a featured presenter at meetings or even speak on podcasts.
