After meeting a new business contact at a business event, set up a follow-up session at a convenient spot to get to know them better.  I often do this at Cafe Elysa in Carlsbad, CA.  Cute, quiet, one-of-a-kind and you can sit outside.

The ocean breeze and great food create a perfect spot to create a harmonious opening to do future business with a new client or refer a colleague.  I enjoyed getting to know a member of The Holistic Chamber of Commerce here today, and learning about her business.
